1995- Present. All started with Helium in a Blimp to filling Oxygen Cylinders for (NPB) "Nellcor Puritan-Bennett". Nellcor (Now Medtronic) and the "Bennett" in NPB was Ray Bennett (Invented the Ventilator) from the "Iron Lung" Technology of the time and a Need for Devising a Pressureization Suit for Our Fighter Pilots Crashing/Dying from Passing out in Flight/Battle; Mr. Bennett Tackled this and Merged with Puritan Medical Gas Co. Specializing in Medical & Specialty Gas Mixes used in Healthcare for Calibrating, mitigating and a variety of Hospital and Medical Applications and needs to this day. From that oxygen Cylinder filling station; I saw this Incredible Device that Had the Ability to Analyze these Blended Gas Mixes. Pure, two, three or 6 Gases in one cylinder together..? I was Perplexed at how can this be? A Child like curiosity and simply not able to draw a Mental Image of "HOW"? I simply kept asking myself and just pursued that knowledge and How to. So Very fortunate that my percervearance and Interest as well as continued very hard work both Physically and Academically., i was able to with the support of NPB and the Companies Sr. Chemist (Ken Hunt) , i was given the Lab Technician Role and quickly Ascended to Chemist and withing a couple years and Lot's of Classes behind me "Lab Manager" where I had a TEAM to Lead and it was truly Amazing on so many Levels. We as a Team were Awarded the " Success Story of the Year" for the Entire Company and thats not bad for a Kid who happened to be the Only Non-Degreed Chemist in the Company. Passion, Pursuit, Humility and a genuine interest come by Honestly with Hard work; prooved we can do it if we want it. Then a Decade Later; The Biomedical World Called in Dialysis (Davita, Fresenius) a Great Intro to The Biomedical World; as well as Audiology Equipment (specialized Niche) and the National Travel Biomedical (BMET-II) Working at Hospitals Nationwide i.e., Chicago-Northwest Comm.
